This is my attempt to the new Stamp-a-Memory Challenge.
The challenge this week was to use a "Not so Perfect" Photo and then upload the photo in it's original from. Here is a example of one of the original photos.
I have scrapped photos from our Easter egg hunt this year, which were definitely not so perfect. I had trouble catching them as they zoomed pass at a hundred miles an hour. There was so much excitement running around with their cousins finding chocolate surprises.
I changed the photos to Black & White and lightened them a little, just some very basic photo editing. Here is how my laypout turned out......
- Kaleidoscope DSP (retired)
- Top note Bigz Die 113463 $42.95
- Big Shot Die cutting Machine 113439 $179.95
- Confetti White cardstock 106557 $17.25 (40 sheets)
- Butterfly Punch 116629 $30.95
- Framed with Love Stamp set (retired)
- Stampin Dimensionals 104430 $7.50
- Taken with Teal ink pad 103257 $11.95
- Regal Rose Ink pad 105211 $11.95
- Stamping Sponges 101610 $6.50 (pack of 3)
- Black Stampin' Write Journaler 105394 $5.75
- Alphabet stickers
- Brads from my stash.
Thanks for visiting.

Cute layout Cassie, those photos are so hard to get when kids are zooming past-especially on an easter egg high!! Sadly I'm not going to Convention, I really was hoping to get there but we have had so many things on the last 6 months already-weddings x 4, family holiday down south, an 'extra' holiday to Qld for my Nannas 90th!, a wedding in Broome next month, a best friends first baby due in a few weeks (she lives in Melb. & I'd love to visit) another wedding in SA in September...plus whatever else Life throws our way in the meantime! Sorry didn't think I'd take up that much comment space : ) I'll just try to get there next year...
ReplyDeleteHi Cassie, Love your layout! They are great photos to scrap and keep memories of aren't they! Unfortunately, being a single mum makes it very difficult to make it to Convention (I wish). Thank you for your lovely comments on my LO. The flowers are pre-made from Spotlight! Gorgeous aren't they. xx
ReplyDeleteI love your layout - it's very happy and bright. I especially love the doodling you've done on the page. It's a really nice finishing touch.
ReplyDeleteI love the doodling too, and always love how photos come up when you make them black and white. Thanks for taking part in the challenge - great layout.
